Getting to Lizzies Cottage

Lizzies’s is two miles South of Berwick upon Tweed, in Scremerston, making it easily accessible whether you are travelling by car, train or air.

By car: one hour by road from central Edinburgh

By air: Edinburgh International Airport is located around 7 miles west of the capital

By train: From Edinburgh Waverley, trains stop at Berwick Train Station

From Glasgow and West Scotland: Join M8 to Edinburgh City Bypass A720. Then take A1 South. Exit at third roundabout for Berwick/Scremerston, first turning on right and them about 100yards, first exit on right onto Deputy Row.


From South and East: Follow A1 North. Exit at roundabout onto for Berwic, first turning on right and them about 100yards, first exit on right onto Deputy Row. 

By train: From Edinburgh Waverley, trains stop at Berwick Train Station

By air: Edinburgh International Airport is located around 7 miles west of the capital
